I would like to congratulate the wrestlers who competed in the USA Preseason Nationals event in Iowa this weekend. In what has become one of the toughest kick off events, this year certainly proved that a title was going to be hard earned.Three of our seven wrestlers that made the trip made it to the finals. Leading the way was Aidan Scholwin pulled off a thrilling 7-6 victory and secured the title in the final seconds, this was Aidan “Spider” Scholwins 3rd national title in 2 years. Matt Ramos also made it to the finals and lost a close 0-3 match to Logan Ashton (one of the top kids in the nation), in the finals. Finally Jimmy Pierandozzi made it to the finals in a loaded bracket and lost to the #1 kid in the nation for his age and weight 1-2. I was very proud of the way our boys battled this weekend.
