In what many consider to be the “toughest tournament” in Illinois, the Raiders brought home 2nd place team honors. We brought 12 wrestlers to the event that featured the top clubs in the state and surrounding states. 8 of the 12 wrestlers placed at the event, Dylan Burnoski caputered his 2 title in as many years at 79lbs, Brandon Ramos won his title (89lbs) against one of the top kids in the state, Nain Vasquez(62lbs) in his 1st time in the at the event made it to the finals and lost a close 2-0 match, Alex Villar(70) made it to the finals and lost a 10-2 decision to one of the top kids in the nation. Rounding out the action was David Ochoa (62) 3rd place, Jimmy Pierandozzi(74)3rd place, Baylor Fernandes(95)5th place, Ronald Tucker (215) 3rd place. Outstanding job!
