I would like to congratulate the Junior Raiders on their 3rd place finish in the IKWF Senior State Duals. This was the 1st year we participated in this event (top 12 clubs in the state have to qualify) and we placed in the top 3. The team beat Sycamore in the 1st round 68-30, then beat the Southern Divisional Champions Crusaders Elite 57-37, then we lost in the semis to the eventual champions and 3peat champions Martinez in a thrilling meet that came down to the last few matches 46-35. We ended the evening by defeating the Northern Division Champions Crystal Lake 60-30 in the 3rd place match. I am very proud of the boys and the way they competed this weekend, and look forward to this event next season. Go Raiders!
