I would like to congratulate our 10 and under dual team for their impressive result from this past weekend. Our young boys competed in the 16 team dual event in New Lenox this past weekend and made it to the Gold Bracket by going 3-0 in their pool matches. In the pool matches the Junior Raiders defeated the Vittum Cats 45-28, then the Belvedere Bandits in a thrilling dual that came down to the end 37-33, and beat our neighbors from Lemont 42-34 to advance to the Gold Bracket (top 4 clubs in the State). Our boys were defeated in consecutive duals by Crystal Lake 47-27 in the semi-final and again in the 3rd place match to Celtic Elite 60-16. Although we did not win this event I was extremely proud that we were able to compete with a group of kids that were mostly made up of 7-9 year olds. The future looks bright for the Junior Raiders next generation of Novice and Senior wrestlers!!! GO RAIDERS!
