The Junior Raiders kicked off the IKWF season with a solid performance in Plainfield at the 10th annual Force Challenge by placing 3rd as a club. The Junior Raiders had a strong showing this weekend in what may be the toughest local event in the area. 42 wrestlers made the short trip to our bordering town, 19 wrestlers made it to the finals and 10 wrestlers took 1st place. Champions included (by division) Tots- Julian Medina Bantams- Marcus Poe Intermediate – Michael Major, Dominic Hargrove, Colin Kacena Novice Robert Major, Jacob Liberatore Seniors Jimmy Pierandozzi, Ben Stemmet, and Nick Stemmet. This group of wrestlers took 2nd place at the event Jammar Vaghn, Devin Aguirre, Janick Schwab, Harrison Konder, Conor Smetana, Jacob Mumm, Matt Aguirre, Cameron Hargrove, Alex Lalezas. I was very impressed with the way our wrestlers competed and look forward to the season. GO RAIDERS!
